Coming from Anchorage you will travel completely
through Soldotna. (This is the place to stop for groceries or
to get something to eat. Fred Meyer and Safeway have
groceries, or there are several restaurants.) As you are
leaving Soldotna stay on the Sterling Highway, you will pass
over a bridge. At the stop light you will see Funny River Road
and Kalifornsky Beach Road. Do not turn here. Go through the
stop light and keep traveling out of town. You will
travel 12.5 miles. You will pass Skyview High School on
your right after you leave town. Keep driving until
you see mile marker 108 on your right. Shortly after
that mile marker you will travel down a hill and make a right
onto Kaliforsky Beach Road. (If you go over another
bridge, you will have gone just a little too
far) You will
see the Kasilof Post Office on you right. Drive for 1.3
miles. Turn left at Sandwick. Sandwick will curve to the right and
turn into Amber Dr. We are near the end of Amber Drive
on the right. Watch for our welcome sign. Please feel free to call (at
